Version 3.1 · Effective 15 October 2026
Our purpose
FizzUp Ideas helps people develop themselves through language learning by contributing useful, respectful and realistic improvements. Speak as yourself; make room for other perspectives. A productive contribution describes a problem, suggests one change, and explains its impact.
Permitted activity
Members may submit ideas, comment, ask constructive questions, propose improvements to another idea and cast one vote per idea. Disagreement is welcome when respectful. Participation must be your own and must follow age 18+ registration requirements.
Not permitted
No harassment, hate, threats, defamation, unlawful content, spam, advertisements, malware, coordinated vote manipulation, repetitive low-quality flooding or impersonation. Do not publish personal contact details, workplace secrets, private transcripts, sensitive personal data, copyrighted material without rights or identifiable information about other people. Do not post financial, medical or legal advice as though supplied by FizzUp. A user may report a dangerous response from a coach through the private App route; never paste its private conversation into public Ideas.
Submission quality
Use a clear title. Explain Today / Proposed Change / Why It Matters. One submission = one proposed change. Search first; if a similar idea exists, join it. Public posts may be machine-translated into English with the original available. Automatic translation can be wrong; report errors to support@fizzup.ai.
How moderation works
An automated scan may prevent a submission from being published while it is checked. Most permitted material is published immediately after that scan; a human can later review, merge, label, hide or remove it. Report content by using the visible Report action; for reports of illegal material, include URL, reasons, and an accurate confirmation of your belief; provide a contact email unless a legal exception applies. Reports are handled proportionately and non-arbitrarily. We may take account of language, context, severity, repeated misconduct and the effects of removal. Members subject to a restriction normally receive an explanation, including whether automation was involved, and may appeal at support@fizzup.ai within six months. The appeal is considered anew by the founder; there is no claim of an independent moderation board.
Duplicates and extensions
We may merge duplicate ideas without assigning sole ownership of all expressions to the earliest author. Each contributor owns their own expression subject to the Idea Licence. An extension becomes a recognised joint credit only with the relevant contributors' affirmative agreement; lack of response for 14 days does not automatically transfer credit or copyright. We may still link related posts or maintain distinct authorship records for product planning.
Visibility, reporting and support
Comments and ideas are public, possibly indexable by search engines. Choose a nickname if you do not want a real name shown. A request to hide your public name does not necessarily require removal of the underlying idea if lawful continued publication applies; FizzUp reviews deletion requests individually. Privacy requests go to privacy@fizzup.ai. Messages to moderators must not contain passwords or unnecessary private data.
Graduated responses
Depending on severity: explanation or warning; removal of material; temporary limits on voting or posting; longer restrictions; account termination or referrals where legally required. Immediate restriction may be needed for threats, personal data leaks or demonstrably illegal content. Disagreements about an idea's popularity are not a disciplinary ground.
