Version 3.1 · Effective 15 October 2026

1. Ownership and the type of permission

You retain ownership of copyright in your original text, drawings or other protected expression submitted as a Contribution. Many ideas, methods, goals or functional concepts are not protected as such by copyright; FizzUp and others may independently develop similar features. The permission granted below is non-exclusive, free of charge, and does not transfer copyright to FizzUp.

2. Licence scope

For a fixed period of five years from submission, you authorise DB 77 CUW Sp. z o.o. to: (a) store and reproduce the Contribution in the Programme and security backups; (b) publish it to other Programme users, display it in moderated community pages and in the public "You Asked. We Built." record with credit preferences respected; (c) translate it, create summaries, extract short quotations, edit presentation and combine it with other ideas where needed for moderation, accessibility and product planning, without falsely attributing a materially altered meaning to you; (d) internally evaluate, test, analyse, compare, group or derive product requirements from it, including with AI tools under FizzUp's instructions and subject to the Privacy Notice; (e) use its functional concepts to design, build, operate and improve FizzUp, including commercial versions of the App; and (f) permit processors and contractors to carry out those activities only for FizzUp's purposes, subject to confidentiality and data-protection obligations as applicable.

These permitted acts cover storage on FizzUp systems and processor systems lawfully enabled under the Privacy Notice. At launch, identifiable or pseudonymised Contributions are not exported to GitHub or to non-Google third-party AI tools. This licence does not by itself authorise a new data processing recipient, remove privacy rights, or permit external providers to train general-purpose models on Contributions for their own purposes. It does not authorise selling a contributor's standalone original expression as a separate content product or using an identifiable person in advertising without the required separate permission.

3. Duration and end of licence

The licence ends five years after each submission unless you and FizzUp agree to renew it. Earlier withdrawal is possible where mandatory law requires it, including relevant privacy rights; intellectual-property licences and GDPR consents are not the same legal mechanism. After expiry or legally required termination, FizzUp stops new use of the contributor's protected expression that requires a licence and takes reasonable steps to remove copies under its control, subject to legally permitted retention. Features, source code, know-how and independently expressed requirements developed during the licence may continue to be used to the extent they do not reproduce protected material beyond the scope of lawful rights. Moral rights remain with the author under applicable law.

4. Third-party material and joint ideas

You confirm that you have rights to submit the material and will not intentionally include third-party confidential or protected works without authorisation. Each person contributing to a joint discussion licenses only the protected expression they create; acceptance of an extension as an acknowledged co-creator does not transfer another contributor's rights. Disputes about authorship may be reported at support@fizzup.ai and credits may be temporarily hidden during review.

5. Practical examples

FizzUp may read a suggestion about more natural travel dialogue, publish it under a nickname, translate it and make a similar feature. FizzUp may not present the author's photograph and full identity in an advertisement merely because the suggestion was published. A Member may delete an account or change public display preferences under the Privacy Notice; those actions do not necessarily eliminate independently lawful use of unprotected functional ideas.

6. Acceptance, contact and law

This licence is accepted expressly when submitting a Contribution. It is separate from voluntary permission to publicise a real name or a private App transcript. Send copyright notices and questions to support@fizzup.ai. Applicable law and mandatory consumer protections follow the Programme Terms. For the Programme the edition displayed at acceptance in the participant’s selected language applies, subject to mandatory author and consumer rights.
