18+ Age Policy — FizzUp

1. Rule

FizzUp is intended for people aged 18 or older and is not directed at children. We do not offer school accounts for minors.

The app does, however, include a parent/guardian consent mechanism for people who have stated an age under 18 in their profile (section 3). Family is a billing model, not a parental-control system.

2. Registration

By accepting the Terms when creating or activating an account, the user declares that they are at least 18. The app does not run a separate age check at registration. A birth year or age band may be entered in the profile; we do not collect a full date of birth.

3. A person who has stated an age under 18

If an age under 18 is stated in the profile, purchases, saving comparison-task recordings and sharing progress in a Family plan do not work without parent or guardian consent. The guardian confirms consent by clicking a link sent to the guardian's email address (valid for 14 days) and can withdraw it. Verification consists only of confirming that email address.

If we reliably determine that a person under 18 uses FizzUp without guardian consent, we may suspend the account, request clarification and take steps to delete the data in accordance with law and the Privacy Policy.
